Before you start
- A website page with video content.
Find the available resources
- 1
Load the video page
Open the page containing the video. Let its player initialize so any available source URLs can appear.
- 2
Choose Video Downloader (Beta)
Select the sidebar tool and wait for the found list.
- 3
Inspect a result
Review the label, source URL, and any dimensions or duration shown. Select a result to open its resource in a new tab.
- 4
Refresh or download
Use Refresh after the page changes, or Download ZIP to fetch the resources the tool found. Downloads use the shared account and export gate.
Understand Beta support
The released tool looks for video elements, source elements, video links, and some exposed player resources. Finding a player on a page does not guarantee that a directly downloadable file is available.
Streaming, protected, encrypted, or temporary resources may not yield a usable standalone file. The tool does not promise downloads from every video platform or a way to bypass protected playback.
If the list or archive is empty
Check that the player loaded and refresh. Open a detected source directly to see whether it is still accessible. A source that expires or refuses access may fail during archive creation.
If no usable resource is exposed, use the website’s own download option when available. Include the page URL and observed behavior in a bug report if a normally accessible file is missed.
