Language, privacy, and table behavior
OCR recognition runs on your computer using the English model bundled with the extension. Images are not uploaded for recognition. English is the only supported recognition language in this release.
The table is reconstructed from recognized word positions. Editing the text box does not change the table. Right-aligned number columns can split into additional columns, so inspect the CSV before using it.
Improve an unclear result
Use a sharp image with larger text, a straight orientation, and clear contrast. Review names, decimals, dates, and email addresses closely. Non-English text may be misread or not recognized.
Reading and copying text do not consume a download. TXT and CSV downloads use the extractor export gate. For multiple images, use batch upload and review each image’s status.
